The American organization Thank You Hashem has launched a unique musical project titled 'Shabbat Upmix,' a continuous 16-minute medley designed to elevate the atmosphere leading up to Shabbat. Performed by prominent Hasidic singer Meshulam Zusha, the medley aims to infuse listeners with energy and spiritual upliftment during the final hours before Shabbat begins. Unlike typical singles, this continuous mix gradually builds momentum, preparing both body and soul for the sanctity of the day.

The production was handled by top Hasidic music producers Izzy Dreim and Mendy Portnoy, who blended traditional acoustic instruments with modern electronic sounds to create a rich and contemporary sonic experience. The vocal depth and communal joy are enhanced by the Neshamah choir, evoking the special ambiance of Hasidic Shabbat gatherings. The visual design accompanying the project was created by Zeira, complementing the musical journey.

Thank You Hashem, known for innovative musical initiatives that strengthen spiritual connection through joy and music, conceived this project to accompany families during their Shabbat preparations such as cooking, cleaning, and setting the table. The medley is now available on YouTube and has already been embraced by many families as part of their weekly routine. This initiative reflects the ongoing evolution of Hasidic music, maintaining traditional authenticity while incorporating modern production techniques. The core message of 'Shabbat Upmix' is that Shabbat is not only a day of rest but a joyous experience that begins with the preparations themselves, enhanced by uplifting music.
