Atilla Shomply's Son Surprises with Firm Support for Netanyahu on Election Podcast

The story · English

During an episode of the election-focused podcast "Campaign'le," Atilla Shomply's 8-year-old son Tal unexpectedly joined the conversation and was asked by his father who he thought would win the upcoming elections. Tal gave a clear and surprising answer: "Bibi. Only Bibi." When Atilla asked Tal to explain his stance, Tal said, "Because there is no one who can really replace him. Do you think someone can replace him?" Atilla replied, "Yes, anyone. Can't you replace him?" Tal responded confidently, "I can. Me or Bibi."

This spontaneous exchange occurred at the start of the podcast episode when political advisor Nevo Cohen, who co-hosts the show with Shomply, was late. Upon Cohen's arrival, Shomply remarked on the moment, saying, "You understand, Nevo? We analyze campaigns in depth, but in the end, an 8-year-old kid tells you what the reality is. Tal always steals the show; he's the star."

The podcast "Campaign'le" covers the Israeli Knesset election campaigns, analyzing political messaging and developments. It is hosted by Atilla Shomply, Nevo Cohen, and pollster Dudi Hassid.
