Ashdod Boy Surprises Netanyahu on Live Social Media Broadcast
During a live social media broadcast on Tuesday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received a surprise phone call from a young boy named Omri from Ashdod. Unbeknownst to Omri, his call was patched directly into the live stream, which was being viewed by thousands of people.
Overwhelmed with excitement, Omri declared his affection for Netanyahu, saying, "I want to say that I love Bibi." When Netanyahu asked his name and where he lived, Omri responded, "My name is Omri, I live in Ashdod. I love you Bibi."
After Netanyahu explained that the conversation was being broadcast live on his Instagram and TikTok accounts, Omri reacted with further enthusiasm, exclaiming, "Man, man, it's us! Really?"
Netanyahu responded with a smile to the unexpected call, greeting the boy and his friend who was with him. "I greet you, I am happy to greet you. Thank you very much, children," the Prime Minister said.
