The workers were found living and working at the site without permits. All 11 were arrested, interrogated, and subsequently detained according to the investigation's findings.

The police stated that the suspects were residents of the Palestinian Authority and emphasized that unauthorized presence and employment in Israel violate entry laws. The court extended their detention until August 10, following the police's request based on the investigation.

The police also noted that officers from the Asher district are conducting ongoing proactive operations to locate illegal residents, highlighting security concerns linked to unauthorized workers potentially being involved in security incidents. Earlier in the day, an incident occurred where illegal residents attempted to flee and injured a police officer.
