Three-room apartment on under 60 square meters sells for NIS 770,000 in Beersheba
The Central Bureau of Statistics released its housing price index about a month ago, showing a quick reversal from the earlier decline in apartment prices. Another index is due out on Monday, and the market is watching to see whether prices keep rising or turn down again. Against a backdrop of stagnant transactions but a sharp jump in residential mortgage volumes, a survey of second-hand deals from the past week offers a snapshot of current pricing across Israel.
In Beersheba, a 3-room apartment on Abraham Avinu Street in District 4, measuring 57 square meters, sold for NIS 770,000. Also in the city, a 3.5-room apartment on Sgan Dov Street in Nave Ze'ev, 82 square meters on the 9th floor of 15, with a 12-square-meter balcony, elevator, parking and a protected room, sold for NIS 1.29 million. A 4-room apartment on Nahal Dalyot Street in HaPark neighborhood, 144 square meters on the 2nd floor of 4, with a 14-square-meter balcony, elevator, parking and a protected room, sold for NIS 1.435 million.
Other reported sales included a 3-room apartment on Yekinton Street in Ashdod, 129 square meters, for NIS 2.12 million; a 6-room apartment on Yaakov Tamari Street in Rehovot, 140 square meters on the 18th floor of 24, with a 16-square-meter balcony, elevator, parking and a protected room, for NIS 3.47 million; and a 3-room apartment on Hera Rubin Street in Lod's Mishmar HaNof neighborhood, 65 square meters on the 2nd floor of 7 with an elevator, for NIS 1.243 million.
The list also included a 3.5-room apartment on Keren HaYesod Street in Bat Yam for NIS 2.2 million, a 4-room apartment on Eilat Street in Holon's Ne'ot Rachel neighborhood for NIS 1.64 million, and a 4-room apartment on Spinoza Street in Ra'anana for NIS 3.25 million.
In Haifa, a 5-room apartment on Zalman Aran Street sold for NIS 1.25 million, while a garden apartment with 6 rooms on Or HaHayim Street sold for NIS 3.45 million. Additional sales were recorded in Kiryat Bialik, where a 3-room apartment on HaPalmach Street fetched NIS 1.37 million, and in Kiryat Motzkin, where a 4-room apartment on Yigal Allon Street sold for NIS 1.31 million.
