New Israeli Outpost 'Sha'ar HaOz' Uncovers Weapons Cache and Environmental Threats Near Kedumim

Just days after establishing the new outpost Sha'ar HaOz, which extends the southern boundaries of the settlement Kedumim, residents reported several security and environmental incidents in the area. During patrols, they discovered a hiding place allegedly used by hostile elements containing a booby trap and several knives. Additionally, they intercepted multiple tankers illegally dumping sewage near water drilling sites, posing risks of soil contamination and damage to vital infrastructure.

Furthermore, the residents confiscated a Palestinian bulldozer operating in Area C, which was being used to prepare land to create a territorial link between the villages of Funduq and Hajjah. All findings, including the seized tankers and heavy equipment, were immediately handed over to the Israel Defense Forces for further action, with ongoing cooperation from the local council.

Ozal Vatik, head of the Kedumim council, emphasized the significance of the new outpost's presence, stating it has already prevented potential harm to lives and water infrastructure. He pledged to continue intensified efforts to protect the settlement and maintain security across the region.
