The price difference was not indicated on any signage in the store, leading to criticism over the lack of transparency. Consumer reporter Meirav Crystal, speaking on the program "HaOlam HaBoker," emphasized that such information should be clearly communicated to consumers and questioned the fairness of differentiating prices based on size. The issue raised broader concerns about consumer rights and the emotional impact of pricing policies that distinguish customers by size, which many view as unusual and offensive. HOODIES responded by explaining that the pricing policy applies only to their two clearance stores, which operate differently from their 70 regular stores. They stated that price variations between sizes in clearance outlets are part of a strategy based on inventory levels and demand during sales events at malls.
