This appointment follows the departure of current spokesperson Yaniv Levi, who is concluding his term. The move comes shortly after Perati announced her decision to leave Channel 12 after 12 years of service.
In a heartfelt social media post last week, Perati reflected on her long tenure at Channel 12, describing it as more than just a workplace but a formative environment where she grew professionally and personally. She shared that she developed deep relationships there, including meeting the father of her children. Perati expressed gratitude to her colleagues and the network, emphasizing the meaningful impact the experience had on her life.
Perati thanked everyone who supported her throughout her career, both behind the scenes and on camera, and wished her former colleagues continued success in their important work. She concluded her message by stating, "My heart is full," underscoring her satisfaction with her career journey so far.
Her new role at the Histadrut marks a significant transition from journalism to a key communications position within one of Israel's most influential organizations.
