Three teenage girls from northern Israel have accused an adult man and two minors of raping them during a meeting at an apartment in the Emek region. According to police investigations, the six individuals initially met in the north and later arranged to meet at the same apartment, where the alleged assaults took place. On Tuesday evening, the suspects, a 21-year-old man and two teenage boys, were arrested and brought in for questioning. All three deny the allegations. The defense attorney for one of the 17-year-old suspects stated that the minor admitted to having sexual relations but claimed they were consensual. A court hearing is scheduled for Wednesday to discuss extending the detention of the adult suspect, who is represented by lawyer Karin Lagetui. The police have not yet decided whether to request an extension of detention for the two younger suspects. These hearings will be held behind closed doors. The case is expected to be a matter of conflicting testimonies between the victims and the accused.
