Washington Warns Hezbollah of Severe Consequences Ahead of Trump-Netanyahu Meeting

Ahead of the Trump-Netanyahu meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening, the Lebanese newspaper Nidaa al-Watan reported that Washington has delivered a stern warning to Lebanon. The message conveyed that Hezbollah would face a heavy price if it sides with Iran in any new military conflict with the United States. The American warning left no doubt about the consequences of Hezbollah's involvement, emphasizing that any rocket or drone attack against Israel would bring "hell" upon Hezbollah and Lebanon. The repercussions would not be confined to southern Lebanon or the area north of the Litani River.

Washington also cautioned the Lebanese government that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly awaiting an opportunity for Hezbollah to intervene in fighting, which could trigger a broad military campaign.
