Omer Korsia Returns to Hapoel Petah Tikva for Second Stint in Israeli Premier League
Omer Korsia, a defender who played last season for Bnei Sakhnin and previously for Beitar Jerusalem, is set to join Hapoel Petah Tikva for a second tenure. Korsia, who appeared 16 times under coach Yossi Abukasis last season, has also played for Maccabi Herzliya, Cypriot club Plamni, and Hapoel Ramat Hasharon. After a trial period with Hapoel Petah Tikva under coach Omer Peretz, the club decided to sign him.
Korsia joins a group of new signings for Hapoel Petah Tikva this summer, including Frank Riboliya from Maccabi Petah Tikva, Alex Musonda from Aris Limassol, Roy Sasson on loan from Beitar Jerusalem, Stav Israeli from Bnei Yehuda, Tedros Demlash from Hapoel Ramat Hasharon, Harel Shalom and Guy Badash from Hapoel Jerusalem, Karim Kimbidi from Orlando Pirates, Yazan Nasser from Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Avishai Cohen from M.S. Ashdod. The club is preparing for the upcoming Israeli Premier League season with these reinforcements.
