Omer Korsia Returns to Hapoel Petah Tikva for Second Stint in Israeli Premier League
Omer Korsia, a defender who played last season for Bnei Sakhnin and previously for Beitar Jerusalem, is set to join Hapoel Petah Tikva for a second tenure. Under coach Yossi Abuksis, Korsia made 16 appearances last season. His career also includes stints at Maccabi Herzliya, Beitar Jerusalem, Cyprus' Flamni, and Hapoel Ramat Hasharon. Korsia underwent a trial with Hapoel Petah Tikva under coach Omer Peretz and was signed after the evaluation period.
This summer, Hapoel Petah Tikva has also added several new players, including Frank Riboliya from Maccabi Petah Tikva, Alex Musonda from Aris Limassol, Roy Sasson on loan from Beitar Jerusalem, Stav Israeli from Bnei Yehuda, Tedros Demlash from Hapoel Ramat Hasharon, Harel Shalom and Guy Badash from Hapoel Jerusalem, Karim Kimbidi from Orlando Pirates, Yazan Nasser from Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Avishi Cohen from M.S. Ashdod. Korsia's return strengthens the team's defensive lineup ahead of the upcoming Israeli Premier League season.
