In honor of Tu B'Av, Israel's Nature and Parks Authority is inviting the public to celebrate love with a series of romantic and cultural events held in various national parks and nature reserves across the country. These events combine live music, art, historical tours, and natural beauty, offering couples and families unique outdoor experiences.

At Beit Guvrin National Park, the new video art exhibition "The Eighth Sound" features a multisensory journey inside the Bell Caves, combining music by Ehud Banai and video art by Ronen Tanhum. Visitors can also enjoy pre-ordered picnic baskets in a scenic natural setting. The exhibition runs on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday nights throughout July.

On July 30, the Herodion National Park will host a sunset concert by singer-songwriter Moshe Herman, starting at 7:30 PM. The same evening, Beit She'arim National Park will present a special "Shchukim" concert by Alon Neuman and Orian Chaplin, preceded by guided tours of the ancient burial caves and archaeological remains.

Also on July 30, the Abdat National Park will offer a festive event featuring wine tastings from Negev wineries, tours of ancient wine presses and vineyards with 1,500-year-old grapevines, live music, and a sunset show. A family craft corner will be available in collaboration with the "Desert Magic" Bedouin experience.

Earlier, on July 28, Apollonia National Park will host an evening by the sea with live saxophone music, romantic poetry readings, couple photography tips, and a romantic writing workshop. This event runs from 6:30 PM to 10 PM, with last entry at 8:30 PM.

All events require advance registration through the Nature and Parks Authority website, with discounts for "Matmon" subscribers and some local residents. Prices vary, with some events free beyond park entrance fees. These activities encourage visitors to slow down, enjoy nature, and celebrate love under the open sky during the traditional Israeli holiday of Tu B'Av.
