Itamar Fleishman Criticizes Opposition for Automatic, Thoughtless Responses to Netanyahu

During a broadcast of Channel 14's program The Patriots on Thursday evening, panelist Itamar Fleishman sharply criticized members of the Israeli opposition. Fleishman accused them of responding to events, especially criticisms of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an automatic and reflexive manner without engaging in thoughtful analysis. He likened their behavior to a physical reflex, explaining that such reactions bypass brain activity and lead them to appear foolish repeatedly.

Fleishman argued that this reflexive conduct stems from the opposition's lack of substantive content or alternative proposals for the Israeli public. He claimed they have nothing meaningful to offer and therefore resort to automatic negative responses as their only tactic. This pattern, he said, is evident across various issues including hostages, the economy, and relations with the United States.

Concluding his remarks, Fleishman stated that the opposition's goal is to discourage and dishearten the public, creating a smokescreen behind which there is "zero content" and nothing to present to the people of Israel. He emphasized their haste to find faults in Netanyahu without genuine thought or consideration.
