Maccabi Haifa is actively reshaping its squad ahead of the upcoming season, confirming the signing of American-Serbian forward Andrea Novakovich. Novakovich is expected to arrive in Israel soon for medical tests and will earn approximately 300,000 euros per season. This signing likely means that Tribente Stewart will be sold or loaned out if a suitable offer is received.

Additionally, former player Omri Glazer is set to join Maccabi Haifa on a long-term contract, with the deal reportedly finalized. Glazer's arrival will facilitate the sale of goalkeeper Giorgi Yermakov to Metalist Kharkiv, who is expected to leave Israel shortly.

Meanwhile, Maccabi Haifa is in ongoing negotiations to acquire left-back Aviv Salem from Maccabi Petah Tikva. However, no agreement has been reached yet. The club's urgency to strengthen the left-back position comes after key players Yinon Feingezicht and Pierre Cornu were sidelined for extended periods.

These moves reflect Maccabi Haifa's strategic efforts to bolster their squad depth and competitiveness for the new season, with several player arrivals anticipated in the coming days.
