Bride Launches Social Initiative to Support Brides Left Alone on Dance Floors

Reality TV alumna Hila Krugman shared her personal disappointment after experiencing an empty dance floor at her wedding, an event she had dreamed of celebrating joyfully. In a heartfelt post, she described feeling hurt and embarrassed as she danced alone for about 15 minutes before a small group joined her. This painful moment reminded her of past feelings of exclusion and loneliness, which resurfaced on her special day.

Determined to transform her negative experience into something positive, Krugman created a social initiative called "Coming to Lift Up." The project involves a community of hundreds of women volunteering to attend weddings of brides they do not know and dance with them as if they were close friends. The goal is to ensure no bride feels isolated on her wedding day.

Krugman explained that the idea emerged after receiving hundreds of messages from women who resonated with her story, including brides-to-be worried about facing similar situations. Within 24 hours, hundreds joined the group, which aims to recruit about eight to ten volunteers per wedding to bring energy and joy to the dance floor. She encouraged anyone fearing a lonely celebration to contact her privately for support.

This initiative highlights the importance of communal support and shared happiness at weddings, turning a personal setback into a collective effort to uplift others.
