US President Donald Trump confirmed that he asked FIFA to reconsider the red card given to US national team player Folarin Balogun. Balogun received the red card during the World Cup round of 16 match against Belgium. Trump stated, "It was not a foul," and added that the referee is "somewhat suspicious" based on his past.
