Four Palestinians, Including Child and Woman, Killed by IDF Fire in Gaza

Four Palestinians, including a child and a woman, were killed and several others injured on Thursday in Israeli military strikes and gunfire in central and southern Gaza, according to Arab media reports. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital informed Al Jazeera that two individuals died in Israeli strikes in the town of Az-Zawayda in central Gaza. One was killed in an airstrike on a tent housing displaced people early in the morning, which also injured another person. The second fatality occurred later in the day from a drone strike that wounded several people. Nasser Medical Center in Khan Younis reported that a woman was killed by IDF fire in the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city. According to a source at Al-Awda Hospital, a child was killed by IDF fire in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Data from the Gaza Ministry of Health indicates that since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, 1,602 people have been killed and 5,794 injured in the Strip, with 847 bodies recovered. Including the four reported deaths on Thursday, the total number of fatalities since the ceasefire stands at 1,606, and the total death toll since the war began is 74,622. The ministry also reported that 175,920 people have been injured since the war's commencement.

Al Jazeera reported that on Sunday, nine Palestinians were killed and several injured in IDF strikes across the Gaza Strip. Five died in a drone strike in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, and three others, including a child, were killed in a strike in the Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City. Another person died from wounds sustained by IDF fire east of Deir al-Balah.
