Hapoel Ironi Tiberias Football Club Addresses Financial Woes

Hapoel Ironi Tiberias, a football club, issued a statement on Thursday addressing recent reports concerning its financial situation. The club clarified that it is currently undergoing a structured recovery and economic stabilization process, overseen by a trustee appointed by the Budgetary Control Authority, attorney Liza Hadash.

The club acknowledged past debts and financial challenges, asserting that it is responsibly and transparently working to manage them. It emphasized that the existence of debts does not solely reflect its current standing, as it does not account for the ongoing recovery efforts and stabilization measures already in place.

Hapoel Ironi Tiberias expressed regret over media reports that they claim present an incomplete picture of the club's financial difficulties, potentially creating a misleading impression of its operations and future. The club reiterated its commitment to continued operation, safeguarding the rights of players and staff, and building a stable long-term financial and managerial foundation.

The statement concluded with a plea to the public, fans, and media to consider the full context of the club's situation, not just the immediate difficulties. The club pledged to continue working with responsibility and determination for its future, its supporters, and football in Tiberias.
