Man Rescued After Drowning Incident in Emek HaMayanot

A 72-year-old man was rescued and is in serious condition after nearly drowning in a water reservoir in the Emek HaMayanot Regional Council. MDA (Magen David Adom) emergency medical services received a report of the incident at 4:33 PM on Tuesday. Paramedics and EMTs arrived at the scene and performed advanced resuscitation efforts on the unconscious man, who was found in the water and suffering from a head injury. Their efforts successfully revived him, and he was transported by an MDA intensive care ambulance to HaEmek Hospital in serious condition and unconscious. "When we arrived at the scene, we were led to a man who was unconscious in the water, suffering from a head injury. We immediately removed him from the water and began advanced resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, ventilation, and administering medication," said MDA paramedic Roman Belman and EMT Tzvi Greenhut. Following the return of his pulse, the man was evacuated to the hospital.
