The State Prosecutor's Office has filed a severe indictment against a 59-year-old man from central Israel for allegedly raping and sexually abusing his three minor granddaughters. The indictment, submitted to the Tel Aviv District Court, details that the grandfather committed acts of rape and indecent assault against the girls on numerous occasions over an extended period. The alleged offenses occurred when the children were between the ages of four and nine, exploiting their young age and dependency on him. The prosecution, represented by prosecutor Guy Gofman, stated that the grandfather abused the trust placed in him as a close family member. Alongside the indictment, the prosecution requested that the grandfather be held in custody until the legal proceedings are concluded. The court has imposed a gag order, prohibiting the publication of any details that could identify the accused or the complainants, as well as the indictment and arrest request, beyond the information released by the prosecution.
