Singer and creator Yisrael Adler has released a new, elaborate music video titled "A Geshäft," a grand production filmed to the highest standards. This is the first track from a 12-song album project focused on Shabbat, which Adler has been working on for several years with US-based musician, arranger, and producer Mendy Hershkowitz. The album features compositions by leading musicians and talents in the community, with the full album slated for release this winter.

"A Geshäft" is a collaborative musical composition by Adler and Hershkowitz, with concept and lyrics by Adler. The lyrics are based on a parable told by the Chofetz Chaim, intended to inspire Jews to be diligent in observing Shabbat. Adler shared that the clip was something his late father, Rabbi Chaim Adler, a chief cantor, had the chance to see, praise, and express enthusiasm for before his passing. "My father was deeply impressed and highly praised the Shabbat project, which will elevate the honor of Shabbat among all of Israel," Adler stated, adding, "May these works be for the elevation of his soul."

Driven by a strong desire to bring merit to the public and encourage more people to observe the sanctity of Shabbat, Adler plans to translate the video's subtitles into additional languages beyond its original Yiddish, with Hebrew and English subtitles also provided. This effort aims to reach a wider Jewish audience globally. The production credits include concept, lyrics, and vocals by Yisrael Adler, music by Mendy Hershkowitz and Yisrael Adler, arrangement and orchestration by Mendy Hershkowitz, interlude reading by Baeri Goldman, choirs by Hershel Brisk, vocal production by Avi Raimi, technical production by David Babad, mix and mastering by Yeniv Blass, and clip, photography, and production by Heni Weinberger.
