The Joint List is expected to recommend Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the National Unity Party, for the role of prime minister without prior conditions. This decision comes partly because Ra'am's recommendation for Eisenkot already ensures he has a high number of recommenders, according to Kan News. A final decision is anticipated tomorrow, shortly before the Joint List's representatives arrive at the President's Residence at 4:45 PM, following a morning meeting.

In parallel, the Joint List is preparing a list of demands in exchange for supporting the appointment of the Knesset Speaker. These demands include leadership of one of the Knesset committees (Finance, Constitution, or Education), the establishment of a committee to advance Arab society with the Joint List chairing it, three representatives on the Finance Committee, a five-year plan for Arab society including measures against crime and violence, and legislation for a temporary order to freeze building demolitions.

Yesterday, Yair Golan, chairman of the Democrats, met with Joint List leaders Yosef Jabareen and Ahmad Tibi. This was Golan's first meeting with representatives of the Arab party bloc, which has shown willingness to support replacing the Knesset Speaker. Golan is acting as an intermediary between the change bloc and the Arab parties, as the bloc has agreed not to engage directly with the Balad party, one of the three factions within the Joint List, which is expected to hold three seats in the Knesset.
