Hapoel Be'er Sheva will be without key midfielders Lucas Ventura and Eliel Peretz for their upcoming Europa League match against OFI Crete in Bucharest. Both players are continuing their rehabilitation from injuries and will remain in Israel.
Peretz's return is not expected until after the international break, while Ventura might potentially rejoin the squad for a league game at Turner Stadium, though the chances are slim. The absence of these two midfielders forces coach Miguel Coccoz to implement rotation, with Amankwaa Forson and Niv Yehoshua expected to play despite the team's overall workload.
Several other players are also expected to be rested for the European fixture, including Miguel Vítor, Igor Zlatanović, and Pedro Amador. Their places in the starting lineup are likely to be taken by Zaahi Ahmed, Amir Ganah, and Idan Nahmias.
The team is aiming for their first win in the Europa League against OFI Crete to maintain their chances of advancing to the knockout stage.
