Minister of Communications Shlomo Karai on Tuesday evening refuted reports of a communication breakdown between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Shas Chairman Arie Deri. Speaking in an interview with Yaakov Grodka on Radio Kol Barama, Karai stated that the partnership within the right-wing bloc remains intact.

"Just two hours ago, Shas representatives were in the Prime Minister's office," Karai said during the interview. He dismissed claims that Deri was not responding to Netanyahu as "complete nonsense."

Political commentator Amit Segal of Channel 12 News corroborated Karai's statements, reporting that Shas Knesset members were actively participating in discussions at Netanyahu's office. These discussions reportedly focused on allegations of fraud and foreign interference within the Arab sector.

Segal noted that Shas is currently remaining within the Netanyahu bloc. The participation of Shas representatives in these high-level meetings indicates continued close coordination within the right-wing and religious bloc, which holds 53 seats. The political system is awaiting further developments regarding the ongoing investigation and the subsequent steps in forming a new government.
