אדוה דדון נגד אוהד בוזגלו: "הישמרו נא"

The investigative reporter Adva Dadon of Channel 12 shared an exchange she had with former footballer and reality star Ovad Buzaglo regarding an investigation she is conducting into him. Buzaglo responded with an attack.

Dadon initially shared public correspondence where Buzaglo asked her to check his private message. When she asked him to state his request publicly, he replied that he would soon say his piece to everyone, and if she didn't understand, she should watch his videos or wait patiently. Dadon responded that he could say what he wanted when he wanted, and she would do her job as she saw fit.

She then revealed the private message Buzaglo sent her, in which he wrote that she was looking for him and doing herself a serious injustice. He claimed she would find nothing improper because he was the "highest soul that exists." He warned that soon there would be a "divine revelation of truth" and that she, her fellow reporters, and anyone trying to fabricate stories about "God's messenger" would regret it. He advised her to wait patiently for great things happening in Israel and the world and to look for those who truly do evil, not someone trying to fix societal distortions.

Dadon posted a screenshot of the message with the caption, "Be warned of the highest soul that exists. I wish Ovad complete health." Buzaglo, in response, shared screenshots of messages allegedly sent by Channel 12 investigators to women he knows, claiming they all gave the same answer. He then stated he texted "this mixed multitude." He accused them of a "joke and a chase" and said that before the "revelation of truth," the "bluff" would surface.

Buzaglo recently claimed a "spiritual awakening" where he discovered he was a reincarnation of Moses and has since been publishing "prophecies" and "messages." Two months ago, he voluntarily admitted himself to the Abarbanel mental health facility for a few days. Two weeks ago, he was arrested and questioned on suspicion of assaulting his partner, though he denied they were a couple, stating she was a close friend who lived with him and that her behavior led to the police's arrival.

Dadon cautiously addressed Buzaglo's condition, stating that mental illness does not grant the right to harm others. She argued that warning signs should not be ignored and that allowing such behavior legitimizes people acting as they please and evading the law and morality, even if they appear competent. She questioned whether a difficult childhood justifies criminal actions and asked if people would remain silent if their daughter, sister, or friend were harmed.

Buzaglo issued a statement saying he approached Dadon respectfully and expects fair and responsible coverage. He respects journalism that seeks truth, not distortion and division, which he calls the "mixed multitude." He opposes the spirit of distortion and incitement, choosing faith, truth, and love for Israel. He stands by his belief in God, redemption, and the Messiah, stating that headlines pass but truth remains.
