Spectacular Goal by Niv Yehoshua Sparks Debate Among Israeli Football Fans

Hapoel Be'er Sheva midfielder Niv Yehoshua scored a remarkable long-range goal in a recent match, drawing significant attention and discussion online. The goal, which came after a steal by teammate Djibril Diop, was described as a "rocket" and a "goal you don't see every day." Yehoshua, who previously played for Maccabi Petah Tikva, scored against his former club's goalkeeper Dor Hebron. Social media users expressed surprise that top Israeli clubs, specifically Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv, did not compete to sign Yehoshua, comparing the situation to their pursuit of another player, Casa. Some commentators noted that without Yehoshua's goal, Hapoel Be'er Sheva would not have scored in that game, highlighting his importance to the team. The discussion suggests that Yehoshua's talent was overlooked by major clubs during the summer transfer window.
