During an operation by Brigade Combat Team 769, under the command of Division 91, in the security zone of southern Lebanon, Israeli forces discovered a civilian home in the village of Khiam. Inside the house, they found weapons and a child's room displaying symbols identified with the terrorist organization Hezbollah. The forces also located and destroyed a warehouse containing explosive drones. Further searches in the area yielded additional weaponry, including rockets, Kalashnikov rifles, helmets, vests, ammunition, and explosive drones.
The IDF stated that it will continue to operate to remove threats to Israeli civilians and IDF forces, while remaining committed to the ceasefire agreement.
