Hapoel Tel Aviv's four-game winning streak was snapped on Friday evening as they suffered a significant 97-83 defeat to Dubai in the Emirates during the ninth round of the EuroLeague. The team delivered a particularly poor performance in the game.
Coach Stefanos Dedas expressed concern for player Thomas Stratenský, who sustained a head injury during the third quarter and is suspected to have a concussion. "I want to say that I pray Stratenský is okay and not seriously injured. That is the most important thing," Dedas stated. He added that the player was conscious and responsive.
Reflecting on the game, the Greek coach congratulated Dubai on their victory. He highlighted the team's inability to reach the free-throw line and their failure to defend Dubai's guards, who were awarded 17 free throws. "We need to find better ways to score," Dedas concluded.
