Toddler Dies After Being Found Unconscious in Locked Car in Rahat

A two-year-old child died on Friday evening after being found unconscious inside a locked vehicle in the city of Rahat in the Negev region. Authorities suspect the child was inside the car for an extended period. Medical teams responded to the scene and attempted resuscitation efforts after the child was brought home by family members who had been searching for him for several hours. Despite their efforts, the medical teams declared the child deceased due to his critical condition, noting he had no pulse or respiration upon arrival.

The family had reportedly been searching for the child for hours before finding him in the car. Upon discovery, he was taken into the house where medical personnel were called. The medical teams stated they received a report of a child removed from a closed vehicle, unconscious, and were informed that his family had been searching for him for hours. They administered resuscitation but the child's condition was extremely critical, leading to the confirmation of his death.
