The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) demolished the homes of two terrorists in Hebron earlier today, Friday. The demolition occurred exactly one week after the terrorists were killed in a clash at the Yehuda Junction, during which two Israeli soldiers, Sgt. Ron Yonatan Reitman and Sgt. Yuval Shai Suilem, were killed and three others were lightly wounded. The two terrorists were eliminated after an exchange of fire with security forces.
The demolition of the homes within a week of the incident is considered an unprecedentedly short timeframe for such an action. Additionally, on Thursday, IDF forces destroyed three memorial sites belonging to terrorists associated with attacks and incitement to terrorism in the area.
The security forces stated they will continue to operate proactively and offensively to thwart terrorism throughout Judea and Samaria.
