Israel's intelligence agency, the Mossad, will join the Shin Bet in investigating suspicions of foreign interference in recent elections. The Mossad's involvement stems from the possibility that Qatar may have funded a mechanism within the Joint List party. The Shin Bet formally requested the Mossad's assistance earlier today. Despite the investigation, officials reiterated that there has been no impact on the election results and none is expected.
