The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency announced Friday that they had eliminated four Hamas operatives in two separate airstrikes in southern Gaza on Wednesday. One strike in Khan Younis killed Muhammad Alian Buyuk, described by the IDF as a Nukhba operative in Hamas's military wing. A second strike in Rafah killed three other operatives: Hammam Jabr Al-Sayed Abu Labada, identified by the IDF as a Hamas commander, along with Mahmoud Abu Naama and Muhammad Hamad Shreiki Sultan. The IDF stated that these three were also members of the organization's military wing.
According to the IDF and Shin Bet, the four individuals were recently involved in rehabilitating Hamas's military capabilities and advancing operations against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, actions contrary to the ceasefire agreement.
