Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu, stated on Thursday that he would not permit any deviation from the scheduled swearing-in of the Knesset. He announced that his party's teams are already preparing legislative proposals for the opening of the session, including a conscription law for all Israeli citizens and a bill to establish a state commission of inquiry into the October 7th massacre. Eisenkot indicated he is coordinating these legislative efforts with his partners.

Eisenkot accused the Likud party and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of orchestrating a campaign to delegitimize the election results, asserting this is a reaction to their loss. He claimed that the majority of the Israeli public voted against the current government and its perceived draft evasion policies, stating, "No spin or propaganda campaign will erase the following fact: the majority of the Israeli public voted against the October 7th government and draft evasion."

He further declared that Netanyahu's era of using state institutions for personal gain at the expense of Israeli interests has ended. In related developments, Eisenkot met with Yair Golan, chairman of the Democratic Movement, to discuss the election outcomes and their shared commitment to swiftly implementing the voters' will. Earlier, Golan also met with Leader of the Opposition Yair Lapid to coordinate political moves.
