The Yisrael party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, is projected to secure 21 seats in the upcoming Knesset elections, potentially bringing 15 new faces to parliament. As of Wednesday, with 93% of votes counted, the party's list includes former security officials, social entrepreneurs, and bereaved families.

Among the notable candidates are Yoram Cohen, former head of the Shin Bet, who has been critical of Prime Minister Netanyahu and advocated for a role for the Palestinian Authority in Gaza's governance. Adi Altshuler, founder of the "Wings of Karambot" movement and a social activist, is considered a potential candidate for Minister of Education despite lacking parliamentary experience.

Shaul Meridor, a former head of the Budget Division at the Ministry of Finance, joins the list, known for his public clashes with former Finance Minister Israel Katz. Tair Ifargan, previously the director-general of the Ministry of Labor, is also on the slate, having alleged gender discrimination after her dismissal.

Other candidates include Oshrat Gani-Gonen, head of the Drom HaSharon Regional Council, who has focused on security issues for communities near the Gaza border. Shira Shapira, mother of fallen hero Anar Shapira, brings a story of sacrifice and civic responsibility. Inbar Harush Giti, CEO of the "Acharei" association, is expected to be central to debates on Haredi enlistment.

The list also features former Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories Kamil Abu Rokon, ex-Shin Bet and Mossad operative Devora Sharipian Bachar, and activist Alex Riff, who advocates for the rights of former Soviet Union immigrants. Attorney Inbar Yachzkel Belilius, with a background in welfare and victims' rights, and Israel Zari, Deputy Mayor of Ramat Gan, also represent diverse professional experiences.

Former Yeruham local council head Tal Ohana Hachmon, who lost her bid for re-election, and Elisaf Peretz, son of the renowned Miriam Peretz and brother to two fallen soldiers, are also among the new candidates. Social entrepreneur Yafa Tegeh, from Ashkelon, rounds out the list, with her entry into the Knesset dependent on the final vote count.
