A Tel Aviv court has restricted singer Ofer Levi from using the internet until Tuesday, following a police request for a 15-day ban. The investigation began on election day after a video surfaced on social media showing Levi, 62, allegedly inciting violence with calls to "execute left-wing voters" and "take the law into our own hands." Following approval from the State Prosecutor's Office, Holon police opened an investigation. Levi was questioned on suspicion of inciting violence and expressing support for such acts, after which he was released under restrictive conditions.

Initially, Levi denied the allegations, claiming the video was fabricated using artificial intelligence and threatening legal action against those who shared it. However, during his interrogation, he reportedly admitted to the act. The police sought to further limit his online activity, requesting a 15-day internet ban. Levi's lawyer, Hassan Nator, argued that such a ban would hinder his client's music career, as his managers rely on the internet for booking performances. Judge Kotin reviewed the investigation materials and arguments from both sides, partially granting the police's request by imposing an internet restriction until Tuesday.
