The chairman of the 'Ad Kan' organization, Gilad Akh, released a video alleging extensive fraud in the recent elections within the Arab sector. Akh stated that in the past 48 hours, he has received hundreds of reports, testimonies, videos, and images. "In the last 48 hours, I have received hundreds of inquiries, testimonies, videos, and pictures about what happened in the Arab sector in the last elections," he said. "And I can already say clearly that there was not a single ballot box in the sector that was not involved in election bribery and fraud."
Akh claimed this was a national operation by the Joint List and Ra'am parties, intended to influence the distribution of Knesset seats. He estimated that at least five mandates were lost to the Israeli public, adding that preparations for this operation had been underway for at least a year. "We simply need to stop the vote count now, stop everything, bring the Shin Bet into this, bring the police into this matter," Akh demanded.
He called for an investigation into the source of allegedly distributed funds, who provided fuel cards, and who visited homes to pay people to vote for Ra'am or the Joint List. Akh's statements come amid an urgent directive from the Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Judge Noam Sohlberg, to the head of the Shin Bet, David Zini, to investigate serious suspicions of attempts to rig the Israeli elections. This investigation is also examining the possibility that Qatar invested funds that led to an increased voter turnout in the Arab community.
