Hapoel Tel Aviv secured one of their best performances of the season, defeating Anadolu Efes 118-88. The team's leading scorers were Antonio Blakeney with 35 points and Elijah Bryant with 16 points and 12 assists, both achieving a performance index rating of 35. It was revealed that both players received watches as gifts before the game, a present that had been waiting for them since last season. Blakeney and Bryant, who were not with Hapoel Tel Aviv at the end of the previous season, selected their new timepieces shortly before the start of a demanding double-week schedule, which includes a game against Dubai on Friday. The watches were presented to the players by owner Ofer Yanai during a celebratory dinner in late June, honoring their successful European season that culminated in a playoff appearance. The owner did not forget his two star players, who delivered an excellent performance on the court.
The team is now preparing for their upcoming game against Dubai.
