Maccabi Netanya Coach Roni Levi Aims for Victory Against Hapoel Jerusalem

Maccabi Netanya coach Roni Levi expressed his determination for his team to win their upcoming match against Hapoel Jerusalem on Saturday, the ninth round of the Israeli Premier League. Speaking ahead of the game, Levi reflected on the disappointing 1-1 draw against Ironi Tiberias, where his team created numerous scoring opportunities but failed to convert them, ultimately conceding a goal in the 90th minute. "The draw result was very disappointing," Levi stated. "We created many opportunities and didn't use them, and in the end, we conceded in the 90th minute in the cruelest way possible."

Levi acknowledged the team's offensive struggles, noting the "unprecedented" number of chances created against Tiberias as a result of "bad luck and lack of concentration." He assured that the team has been working on improving their finishing and chance creation, emphasizing their focus on scoring more effectively. "We want to fix this as quickly as possible and are working with emphasis on the areas we are lacking," he said.

Looking ahead to the Hapoel Jerusalem match, Levi highlighted the need for organized team play against a "very tactical and difficult" opponent. "We will need to be an organized and cohesive team, especially at home," he commented, adding, "We want to play offensively and win the game."

Levi also discussed the team's ongoing development, noting the integration of many new players. While the team has improved defensively compared to last season, he stressed the need for a significant step forward in their attacking performance. "We are not yet at the desired level of play," Levi admitted, "but our players are talented and will know how to score in the end because we are creating chances. As time goes by, we will become a very strong team."
