To commemorate this occasion, Rabbi Yitzchak Koldetzky, son-in-law of the late Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, has embarked on a special journey to the Chofetz Chaim's grave in Radin.

This year marks 120 years since the printing of the final volume of the Mishnah Berurah, a seminal work that has become the foundational and most influential halachic text in the Jewish world. Rabbi Koldetzky's pilgrimage is undertaken with the promise of "on Mount Zion there will be deliverance and it shall be holy." He is expected to pray and intercede on behalf of those whose names are submitted for prayer.

Following the prayers, Rabbi Koldetzky will sign a "document of salvation and life" at the Chofetz Chaim's grave. This document will reference the prayers held in honor of the auspicious day of Cheshvan 19, the day the Mishnah Berurah was completed, and will be conducted on behalf of Kupa Shel Yedidim, an organization established by Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky.
