Former Hapoel Tel Aviv forward Colin Malcolm will face his old team for the first time on Wednesday when his current club, Anadolu Efes, plays against them. Malcolm, who started in 32 of Hapoel Tel Aviv's 40 games last season, moved to the Turkish team where he has a more central role than he did previously.

Malcolm has scored in double figures in his last three games, matching his longest streak with Hapoel Tel Aviv. This season, he is averaging 8.7 points per game with 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 21 minutes, a significant increase from his previous averages of 6.8 points and 0.8 steals in nearly 25 minutes per game.

Commentators have praised Malcolm's impact. Serbian commentator Spat Begic noted his effectiveness driving to the basket and his all-around presence on both offense and defense. Another commentator, Edgar Yassin Turhan, described Malcolm as the "glue" for Anadolu Efes, comparing his influence to that of James Anderson during the team's championship seasons.
