Israeli forces conducted a 72-hour counter-terrorism operation across eight villages and the city of Nablus in the Samaria Brigade area, resulting in the arrest of eight wanted individuals and the destruction of two terrorist homes and 12 memorials. The operation, involving the IDF and Border Police, also led to the seizure of weapons and the scanning of approximately 300 sites suspected of terrorist activity.
In the village of Beita, the IDF's Yahalom unit and the Samaria Brigade destroyed the homes of Zacharia Muhammad Abd Daoud and Ibrahim Abdel Karim Abd Daoud. The IDF stated that these individuals were involved in three explosive device attacks in 2024 and 2025, two of which injured security forces.
Further operations in the village of Yatzid saw special forces, guided by the Shin Bet, arrest suspects involved in terrorism and arms trafficking. The Duvdevan unit apprehended a suspect accused of trading in explosives and weapons and supplying them to a terror cell, while undercover Border Police officers arrested another individual involved in manufacturing explosives, arms trafficking, and planning attacks.
The removal of 12 memorials dedicated to terrorists involved in attacks, which the IDF described as serving incitement to terrorism, was also a key part of the operation. The IDF emphasized that these demolitions were part of an ongoing effort against incitement and followed pre-approved work plans. During the sweeps, forces also confiscated weapons, including hunting rifles, a pistol, and ammunition.
