The Central Elections Committee announced on Wednesday that it will investigate claims of disruptions and irregularities at polling stations across Israel, a standard procedure following every election. This announcement came shortly after the Likud party alleged widespread election fraud in Arab communities. The committee stated it has received and is examining the Likud's complaint as part of its ongoing review of election integrity, which includes examining all party submissions regarding potential issues.

The Likud party had earlier accused "Arab parties supporting terror" of stealing the election through serious criminal offenses such as bribery, threats, violence, forgery, and the use of prohibited software to encourage voters. The party claimed to have provided hundreds of pieces of evidence to the police, Shin Bet, and the Elections Committee, detailing alleged fraud in numerous Arab polling stations. These allegations include issues like cash and Ra'am party ballots found with ballot envelopes, intimidation of poll workers, multiple voters behind the curtain, double voting, discrepancies between ballot counts and voter numbers, and the use of prohibited voter-mobilization software.

The Likud demanded a thorough investigation by the police and Shin Bet into the alleged election theft by Arab parties and called for swift legal action against those responsible. They also urged the Elections Committee to immediately address these criminal offenses, which they claim severely compromised election integrity and the democratic process in Israel.
