Anadolu Efes Coach Laso Calls Hapoel Tel Aviv a Tough EuroLeague Opponent

Anadolu Efes coach Pablo Laso has identified Hapoel Tel Aviv as one of the toughest opponents in the EuroLeague this season. Ahead of their matchup on Wednesday for the eighth round of the European season, Laso praised the Israeli team's talent, stating, "They have very talented players in every position on the court." He specifically mentioned Vasilije Micić, Dan Oturu, Zach LeDay, Elijah Bryant, and Tomas Satoransky as among the best players in Europe.

Laso highlighted Hapoel Tel Aviv's physicality in the paint and their impressive pace of play. "When you think you've managed to control one of these players, someone else from their team steps up and hits a shot," he observed. He stressed the need for his team to "stay united, play our basketball, and control the pace of the game."

Hapoel Tel Aviv currently holds a 5-2 record in the EuroLeague after the first seven rounds, aiming to improve their standing and join Valencia and Fenerbahçe with the second-best record in the league. Last season, Hapoel Tel Aviv defeated Anadolu Efes in both of their matchups, winning 87-81 in Turkey and 71-66 at home. Anadolu Efes is currently ranked 13th in the league standings.
