Unusual votes for fringe parties and candidates have emerged in Israel's 2026 elections as about half the ballots are counted. Eitan Shvilly's "Chain" party and the "Pirates" party received hundreds of votes, while others like "Paradise" and "Shema" also saw support. Benny Gantz, who had withdrawn, still received three votes, indicating some voters were unaware of his departure.

  • Eitan Shvilly's "Chain" party received hundreds of votes, including 75 in Haifa.
  • The "Pirates" party garnered 408 votes nationwide, with support in Haifa and Jerusalem.
  • The "Paradise" party received 105 votes in the town of Aramsha.
  • Semyon Grafman's "Betach" party attracted 221 votes.
  • Sharan Hashkel's "Israel First" party obtained 548 votes.
  • Benny Gantz, despite withdrawing, received three votes from unaware voters.

As approximately 50% of votes are tallied in the 2026 Israeli elections, peculiar voting patterns have emerged, highlighting unusual choices by some citizens. Eitan Shvilly, leader of the "Chain" party, who campaigned in a robe and crown, received a significant number of votes, including 75 in Haifa, 42 in Netanya, and 43 in Jerusalem. The "Pirates" party, seemingly inspired by the fictional character Jack Sparrow, garnered 408 votes nationwide, with notable support in Haifa (43 votes), Jerusalem (29 votes), and Petah Tikva (23 votes).

The "Paradise" party, presenting itself as a "new civil movement for life, hope, and a corrected state," secured 105 votes in the town of Aramsha, along with votes in Haifa, Netanya, Ashdod, and Ramla. Semyon Grafman's "Betach" party received 221 votes, including 29 in Haifa and 5 in Ashdod. The "World Covenant for the Redemption of Israel" party, identified by the letters "Zatz," received 123 votes, with four voters in Tirat Zvi.

Another party, "Shema," which pledged to "act for a moral society that censors child pornography, stops political support for homosexuality, and makes it illegal activity," attracted 228 votes. Sharan Hashkel's "Israel First" party obtained 548 votes, with a notable 110 votes cast in Ein Qiniya. Meanwhile, Benny Gantz, who had withdrawn from the race, still received three votes, with one voter each in Nahariya, Nazareth, and Ein Harod (Union) apparently unaware of his withdrawal.

These "strange votes" are part of the ongoing electoral process, with the results reflecting a range of voter sentiments and perhaps some protest or novelty choices. The full impact of these unusual votes on the final election outcome remains to be seen as the remaining 50% of ballots are counted.
