Exit polls from Israeli elections show no bloc achieving the 61 seats needed for a majority, with Likud being the largest party. Projections show the right-wing bloc with 53 seats and the left-wing bloc with just over 50. Izencoat may use Arab party mandates to form a minority government and remove Netanyahu from office, potentially leading to new elections.

  • No bloc secured 61 seats in Israeli elections, exit polls indicate.
  • Likud is the largest party with an average of 25 projected seats.
  • Right-wing bloc projected at 53 seats, left-wing bloc at over 50.
  • Izencoat could form a minority government using Arab party support.
  • A minority government could aim to remove Netanyahu and trigger new elections.

Exit polls from the latest Israeli elections indicate that neither the right-wing nor the left-wing bloc has secured the 61 seats required to form a majority government. The Likud party emerged as the largest single party, projected to win an average of 25 seats across all channels, compared to 21 for Yesh Atid. Both parties appear to have gained votes at the expense of smaller parties within their respective blocs.

Discrepancies exist among the channels regarding the overall bloc standings. Channels 14 and i24News suggest a slight advantage for the right-wing bloc, while Channels 11, 12, and 13 favor the left-wing bloc. On average, the right-wing bloc is projected to have 53 seats, while the left-wing bloc is expected to have just over 50.

Despite the lack of a clear majority for either bloc, the polls suggest that Izencoat could potentially leverage Arab party mandates to block Netanyahu and form a minority government. This strategy would involve replacing the Knesset speaker first, followed by the swearing-in of a government, with or without the Arab parties' direct participation, to remove Netanyahu from the Prime Minister's office. The aim would then be to hold out until new elections could be called.
