Hundreds of volunteers from the Samaria region and other Israeli settlements participated in a V26 initiative aimed at increasing voter turnout on Tuesday. The volunteers initially focused their efforts in the city of Lod, canvassing neighborhoods to encourage residents to vote. Their mission in Lod was completed three hours ahead of schedule due to an unexpectedly high number of participants.
Following the early completion of tasks in Lod, the volunteers expanded their operation to two additional cities, Ramla and Bat Yam, in the final hours before polling stations closed. The volunteers split into teams to continue their voter mobilization efforts in these new locations.
Yossi Dagan, Head of the Samaria Regional Council, joined some of the volunteers in Ramla. He commented on the successful early completion of their work in Lod, stating, "We were in Lod, several hundred volunteers, and we finished the work there early because many arrived, thank God. Now we are here in Ramla and also in Bat Yam, at your service." Dagan emphasized the solidarity between the volunteers and the city residents, saying, "We are brothers, we have always proven that together, both in wars and when there were internal problems. Even now, in this campaign for the Land of Israel, we are winning together."
Ramla Mayor Michael Videl also joined the volunteers in Ramla, expressing gratitude for their assistance. "We are going house to house here in Ramla, in Bat Yam, all over the country and in the settlements. We are bringing everyone out and winning together to save the State of Israel," Videl stated. He further thanked Dagan and the volunteers for leaving their homes to support the effort, adding, "Thank you very much to the volunteers, there is no one like you." The activity in Ramla and Bat Yam was a direct continuation of the day's operation in Lod, aiming to maximize voter participation before the polls closed.
