Arab settlements are leading in voter turnout during Israel's parliamentary elections on October 27th. Ataune, Kasr as-Sir, and Kabua reported the highest participation rates, with 64.1%, 47.9%, and 47.8% respectively. While these figures are significant for these specific communities, they may not represent the overall turnout of Arab voters across the country. The high turnout has prompted an emergency meeting and discussions about its potential impact on election results.

Parliamentary elections are underway in Israel on Tuesday, October 27th, with early results indicating a high turnout in Arab communities. The top three locations with the highest voter participation are currently Arab settlements. According to Channel 14, the village of Ataune leads with 64.1% of eligible voters having cast ballots by the time of reporting. In the previous Knesset elections in November 2022, the Hadash-Ta'al list secured 67.6% of the valid votes there. Kasr as-Sir ranks second with 47.9% turnout; four years prior, the Ra'am party garnered 96.6% of the votes in this locality. Kabua, a tribal settlement, is in third place with 47.8% participation. In the 2022 elections, Ra'am received 90.6% of the votes in Kabua. While these three locations show the highest turnout rates, they are relatively small communities. Therefore, these figures do not necessarily reflect the overall activity of Arab voters nationwide. Reports also mention an attack on a Channel 14 journalist in Haifa and an emergency meeting called by Smotrich due to the high election turnout.
