Israel is experiencing exceptionally high voter turnout in its general elections, with approximately 2.3 million people having cast their ballots by mid-afternoon. This figure represents the highest turnout rate for this time of day since the 1973 elections, indicating significant public engagement. The Central Elections Committee has issued directives to polling station secretaries to expedite the voting process and manage the queues, which have formed at numerous locations. These instructions include allowing the next voter to enter the booth while the previous one is still behind the curtain, avoiding further questioning when a voter's identity is clear, and accepting government app images of ID cards. Station secretaries are also instructed to continue operations during envelope sealing and to permit voting for those who arrive by 10:00 PM, even after the official closing time.

Within the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), 48% of soldiers had voted by 1:00 PM, a higher rate than the 44.4% recorded at the same time during the 2022 elections. Military voting began a week prior, with 850 polling stations established across bases and abroad.

Gadi Eisenkot, chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, cast his vote in Herzliya, accompanied by his wife and family. Supporters present chanted slogans, including "Who's coming? The next Prime Minister!" and "Gadi, Gadi, Gadi!" Some also chanted "Bibi, Bibi, Bibi," referring to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Eisenkot stated, "We are putting Israel on a new path. We will be worthy of your trust. I promise."

Separately, the Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Judge Noam Solberg, issued an interim order prohibiting the United Torah Judaism party and its representatives at polling stations from tracking voters who have already cast their ballots. This order came in response to a petition from the Movement for Quality of Government in Israel, following a report that United Torah Judaism had instructed its representatives to manually document and report on who had voted. Solberg has given the party until 2:15 PM to respond to the petition.

In a separate incident, the Democrats party announced the arrest of an individual who allegedly attempted to stab party chairman Yair Golan in Tel Aviv. According to the party, the man approached Golan in a threatening manner during election activities, and security guards intervened, discovering a large knife on him before police arrived and made the arrest. Golan attributed the incident to "the propaganda machine" operated by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his associates, asserting that "incitement and violence will not deter us."
