Israeli airline Air Haifa launched a special promotion on election day, coinciding with a national holiday. The airline, which recently introduced new routes from Tel Aviv to Eilat and Haifa to Thessaloniki, offered customers a chance to vote on their Facebook page for the weekly "FLYDAY" discount. The winning vote resulted in a 30% discount on international flights throughout November 2026, valid for bookings made by midnight on election day, October 27th. The discount excludes airport taxes, baggage, and seat selection, and is limited to a minimum of 100 tickets. Tickets purchased under this promotion are non-changeable. Air Haifa emphasized that this is a marketing activity unrelated to the Knesset elections or any political entity. The airline also highlighted its flexible cancellation policy, allowing changes or cancellations up to 24 hours before departure for future flight credit. Air Haifa currently operates direct flights from Haifa to six destinations, including five in Europe (Sofia, Thessaloniki, Athens, Paphos, Larnaca) and one domestic route to Eilat. The airline recently partnered with FlyAll, enabling FlyAll cardholders to use accumulated funds for bookings on Air Haifa flights.
